Refund & Return Policy

Because of the nature of furniture, we do not accept change-of-mind returns. Returns are accepted only for items that arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect, under the conditions below.

Return Eligibility

An item may be eligible for return, replacement, repair, or store credit if:

  • It was damaged on delivery;
  • The wrong item was delivered; or
  • It has a genuine manufacturing defect.

To qualify, the issue must be reported within 48 hours of delivery (visible transit damage within 24 hours; see our Shipping Policy), and the item must be unused, in its original condition, and in its original packaging where possible.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Custom-made or made-to-order furniture;
  • Items bought on sale, clearance, or promotion;
  • Items damaged through misuse, improper handling, or incorrect assembly;
  • Items with normal wear and tear;
  • Items that do not fit due to measurements taken by the customer;
  • Items that have been used, altered, assembled, or moved after delivery.

How to Request a Return

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery on +960 737-2246 or hello@misc.express with:

  • Order number and name;
  • Reason for the return;
  • Clear photos or a video of the issue;
  • Delivery date.

Our team will review your request and confirm whether the item qualifies and whether it will be replaced, repaired, or issued as store credit.

Return Collection & Refunds

For items that are damaged, defective, or incorrect, we arrange and cover return collection at no cost to you. Where a refund is due, it is issued to the original payment method through the Bank of Maldives payment gateway within 7-14 working days of the returned item being received and inspected.

Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled before dispatch, or before procurement/production begins for pre-order and made-to-order items. Custom or made-to-order items cannot be cancelled once production or procurement has started. To cancel, contact us as soon as possible on +960 737-2246.
